Hoss came to us from Dally Up Australian Shepherds. He is a great all around chore dog. Hoss has been a great dog for me to work with. Hoss and I have learned a lot of lessons together. He has taught me about pressure and how important it is to not take things too seriously. Hoss is known as the life of the party everywhere he goes - always happy, always grinning! Hoss finished his WTCH in 2008 and he was awarded the RD (Ranch Dog) title in 2011. He has retired from being the full time chore and set out dog at the farm, where he excelled for many years. He is now working with my eight year old daughter, Emmy, and taking great care of her as she learns how to work stockdogs on her own. God willing and the old dog holds together, they will trial together in 2015. |
